The YGM series grinding mill is a high-pressure suspension roller mill (a YGM Raymond mill) developed from the classic R-series Raymond mill. How Does the YGM Series Grinding Mill Work?
Each unit is a closed-circuit system: main grinding unit, classifier (analyzer), blower, cyclone collector, pulse bag dust collector and ducting, plus optional jaw crusher, bucket elevator, vibrating feeder and PLC cabinet.
1. Feeding
Crushed material (≤15–40 mm by model) is lifted to the hopper and fed evenly into the grinding chamber by an electromagnetic vibrating feeder. Uniform feeding is the biggest lever on stable output.
2. High-Pressure Grinding
Rollers swing outward under centrifugal force and press tightly against the stationary ring. Blades scoop material into the gap, where it is repeatedly squeezed, sheared and pulverised.
3. Airflow Classification
The blower carries powder to the classifier; impeller speed sets the cut point — higher speed, finer product. Oversize particles fall back for regrinding, so there is no screen to clog and fineness changes without stopping the mill.
4. Collection and Dust Removal
Qualified powder enters the cyclone collector and discharges as finished product. Residual air is cleaned in the bag filter (dust <20 mg/m³). The mill runs under negative pressure in a closed loop, keeping the workshop clean and material loss low.
