A mobile cone crusher combines a cone crushing unit with a tracked or wheeled mobile chassis. It is designed for projects that require high-quality aggregate production, flexible relocation and reduced material handling between process stages.
Baichy mobile cone crusher configurations are suitable for medium-to-hard and hard materials, including granite, basalt, iron ore and other hard rocks. The published product range covers feed sizes of up to 50–300 mm, motor power from 90–265 kW, and capacity from 30–600 t/h. Actual performance depends on the selected model, material properties, feed gradation, closed-side setting and final product requirements.

Crushing Equipment Selection
A mobile cone crusher can move between work areas without a permanent foundation. It is ideal for short-term projects, mining sites, road construction and other jobs where reducing material transport is important.
A cone crusher uses compression crushing to process hard materials. With the right chamber and settings, it can produce more cubical particles and fewer elongated pieces.
Final product size and shape depend on the material, feed size, crusher settings and screening system. Confirm the results through a process design or test before choosing a configuration.
A mobile cone crushing plant can include a feeder, cone crusher, mobile chassis, conveyor, hydraulic system and control system. Screens and conveyors can be added to match your required output sizes and plant layout.
At the customer’s site, the plant processes materials such as granite, basalt and other hard rocks. The mobile design allows the equipment to move between working areas, while the multi-cylinder hydraulic system provides stable operation and convenient adjustment.
A mobile cone crushing plant normally includes a feeding system, cone crusher, mobile chassis, discharge system, hydraulic system and electrical control system.
1. Feeding
The vibrating feeder delivers material evenly into the crushing chamber. Stable feeding helps reduce overload, empty running and sudden changes in production rate.
2. Crushing
The moving cone rotates eccentrically inside the fixed bowl. As the crushing chamber changes, the material is compressed and sheared repeatedly. The selected chamber type and closed-side setting determine the available crushing ratio and product-size range.
3. Discharge and screening
Crushed material leaves the chamber and is transferred by conveyor or discharge equipment. If the plant includes a vibrating screen, the screen separates the material into the required product fractions and can return oversize material for further crushing.

A mobile cone crusher integrates a cone crushing unit onto a self-propelled tracked or wheeled chassis, requiring no fixed foundation and enabling rapid deployment at scattered or short-term sites. A fixed cone crusher needs permanent infrastructure installation but offers greater stability and lower unit cost for large-scale, long-term operations such as big quarries.
It is designed for medium-to-hard and hard materials, including granite, basalt, iron ore and other hard rocks. It is widely used in sand and gravel aggregate production, mining operations, and construction waste recycling. For medium-to-low hardness materials such as limestone, a mobile impact crusher may be a more cost-effective choice.
The Baichy mobile cone crusher accepts a feed size of up to 50–300 mm, is equipped with a 90–265 kW motor, and delivers a production capacity ranging from 80 to 630 tons per hour, depending on the model, material hardness and closed-side setting.
The cone crusher uses laminated (extrusion and shearing) crushing, producing more cubic particles with fewer needle-like flakes, which meets high standards for commercial concrete aggregates. Its high manganese steel liners last much longer than impact hammers, cutting maintenance costs by around 30% on hard rock. Impact crushers wear out quickly and generate more powder when crushing hard materials.
Key advantages include on-site mobility (ready to crush within hours, no foundation required), automated adjustment and real-time monitoring, fuel efficiency, and roughly 30% lower operational costs compared with conventional stationary setups.
