Structural features and advantages
1. Spring Overload Protection System
Eight sets of high-strength coil springs provide reliable protection against uncrushable materials (tramp iron, oversized feed). When overload occurs, the springs compress and the discharge opening widens automatically, then resets once the foreign object passes — preventing damage to the crushing chamber and main shaft.
2. High-Strength Crushing Components
The mantle and concave are cast from high-manganese steel (Mn13Cr2), offering excellent wear resistance under high-frequency impact. The eccentric sleeve uses Babbitt alloy lining, reducing friction and extending service intervals.
3. Hydraulic Adjustment & Cavity Cleaning (Optional Upgrade)
Available with an optional hydraulic station for quick discharge gap adjustment and cavity cleaning, reducing downtime between material changes.
4. Thin Oil Circulation Lubrication
A dedicated lubrication station continuously pumps filtered oil to the eccentric bushing and spherical bearing, keeping critical friction surfaces at safe operating temperatures during continuous running.
5. Standardized Modular Design
All PYB series crushers share interchangeable wear parts and common components, simplifying spare parts management for multi-machine operations.

FAQ
Q1: What rock hardness can the PYB900 handle?
The PYB900 is rated for rocks with compressive strength up to 300 MPa, including granite, basalt, diabase, and high-silica ores. For materials softer than limestone, a hammer crusher or impact crusher may be more cost-effective.
Q2: What is the minimum closed-side setting (CSS)?
The minimum CSS is 15 mm. Running tighter than 15 mm accelerates wear on the mantle and concave and may overload the motor. For finer output (below 15 mm), consider pairing with a sand making machine (VSI) downstream.
Q3: How often should wear parts be replaced?
Under normal conditions crushing granite or basalt:
Mantle liner: ~1,500–2,000 operating hours
Concave (bowl liner): ~2,000–3,000 hours Lower-abrasion materials (limestone, dolomite) can extend these intervals by 40–60%.
Q4: Can the PYB900 be operated in a mobile crushing plant?
Yes. The 11.2 t weight and compact footprint make it compatible with trailer- or skid-mounted mobile configurations. Baichy provides integrated mobile solutions combining jaw + cone + screen on a single chassis.
Q5: What's the typical delivery time?
Standard configuration orders ship within 15–25 working days. Custom configurations (hydraulic upgrade, special voltage, specific paint scheme) may require 30–45 days. Spare parts in stock ship within 7 days.
